The booster club of the ADV (Academy for Data Processing) is a non-profit association which was founded in 1974. Among its members are over 100 well-known companies, a large number of private persons as well as alumni and students of the ADV. Many IT companies get involved with the booster club particularly in Stuttgart, Böblingen and the immediate vicinity.
Organisations and Memberships
The Academy for Data Processing qualifies business data processing specialists within a degree program of three years. AFI cooperates with ADV for more than 20 years and supports the young people on their career path. For this, AFI takes over one-year interns of the ADV and introduces the focus “SAP®” to the degree program. Furthermore, AFI currently develops an advanced cooperation with the ADV in the form of an “SAP® Team.
The “Deutschsprachige SAP-Anwendergruppe (DSAG e.V.)” (a German-speaking SAP user group) in Walldorf considers itself as an independent representation of interests of all SAP users in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Its aspiration is to work towards the creation of SAP solutions in line with the users’ demands as well as the support of an exchange of experiences and information both amongst SAP customers and with SAP. The DSAG was founded in 1997 as a registered association and nowadays has over 2,600 member companies. It has established itself as one of the world’s largest SAP user groups.
BITKOM Bitkom is Germany's digital association. Founded in 1999 as a merger of individual industry associations in Berlin, we represent more than 2,300 companies in the digital economy, among them 1,000 SMEs, 300 start-ups and almost all global players.
Bitkom mainly advocates for innovative economic policies, the modernisation of the educational system and future-oriented network policies.
